Prof. Hoi Sing KWOK Awarded Honorable Member of SID Beijing Chapter
Prof Hoi Sing KWOK has been awarded the Honorable Member of SID Beijing Chapter at the 2025 International Conference on Display Technology (ICDT), one of the most important international conferences sponsored by the SID (The Society for Information Display) outside the US.
This esteemed recognition is to recognize Prof KWOK’s outstanding contributions and ongoing participation in various SID activities. To qualify for this honor, the awardee must have been a SID member, SID Fellow or Senior Member for more than 20 years.
Prof KWOK’s dedication to the field of optoelectronics and commitment to advancing displays technologies have made a lasting impact and this honor highlights his invaluable contributions to the SID community.
Besides, the representative teams from the SKLADT have been awarded "The Display Future Star Award" and “The Best Logic Award” at the 4th ICDT Display Future Star Debating Competition.
The team that received the Display Future Star Award consists of Siqing NIE, Xueli CAO, Dawei ZHENG and Jiamin XU, under the supervision of Prof Yen Hung LIN and Dr Fion YEUNG. Meanwhile, the team of Jiye Yang, Shan Huang in partnership with Shenzhen University, was honored with the Best Logic Award, supervised by Prof Man Hoi WONG, Dr Guijun LI and Dr Wanlong ZHANG.
Additionally, Fast Light Technology Limited and Roumei (Hong Kong) Technology Limited, both found by SKLADT members, were awarded the third prize in the Start-Up Zone Achievement Award.
The outstanding performance of the SKLADL teams showcases their extensive knowledge and exceptional debating skills. Such achievements not only highlight the keen intelligence of the teams but also underscore the significant impact of their work on the future of display technology.
